Esta es una muy buena descripción del problema.

Yo, personalmente, tiendo a tratar este tipo de problemas notando que
yo sólo puedo controlar mis acciones, lo que piensen los demás a pesar
de mis acciones no me incumbe. Ie: si alguien piensa que PyConAr es
machista/blanquista/latinista porque predominantemente
hombres/blancos/latinos se acercan, problema de ellos por no acercarse
y averiguar por sí mismos.

Claro que otras personas piensan diferente. Para estas otras personas
a quienes les interesa cambiar la situación, es que está la
publicidad. Que yo sepa se hizo bastante publicidad. Capaz que no fue
suficiente o suficientemente efectiva. Capaz, como lo que cito arriba,
cualquier publicidad es superflua dado que es un problema de
percepciones y preconcepciones unilaterales.

Eso sí, si se acerca una mujer/negro/chino/loquesea y me dice que se
siente discriminado, con razones objetivas, ahí sí que hay un
problema.

¿Alguien se quejó de esta forma?
