Hola!  buena tarde gente.

Les comparto una oferta de trabajo de la compañía para la que trabajo
ubicada en Lisboa - Portugal, les cuento brevemente. Estoy trabajando con
ellos desde el 1 de octubre, el trabajo lo conseguí desde Medellin -
Colombia y trabajé remoto por 2 - 3 meses hasta que pude obtener la visa de
trabajo y estoy viviendo acá (En Lisboa) desde el 27 de Diciembre.

El ambiente de trabajo es muy bueno, el idioma para comunicarse
internamente es ingles pero es muy deseable que tengan facilidad o ganas de
aprender portugues, es necesario para la parte social y porque si no se
esta trabajando, todo lo que se escucha es portugues.

No se asusten por la descripción de la oferta de trabajo, yo vine sin saber
Django (Aunque ya sabía Flask y tenia varios años de experiencia con
Python), lo que piden tiene importancia, pero lo mas relevante es la
capacidad de investigar. Yo no tengo pregrado, tengo una tecnología (de 2 a
3 años de estudio), el titulo no es tan importante en este caso. Si es muy
importante el ingles, pero si tienen dudas les recomendaría igual
presentarse.

Requirements

A computer-related engineering degree
Highly developed logical thinking
Ability to engage in discussions of a wide range of engineering topics
(DBs, Networking, Architecture, Scalability, Resilience)
Able to embrace that learning is part of the job
2+ years working with Python
Easily uses Git
Experience in web developing
It’s a plus if you’re familiar with some of these: Django, REST, Azure,
Docker, Databases, SCRUM, Git flow

Responsibilities

This is not a developer position, it’s an engineering position. This means
it requires the ambition to pursue new technologies and processes and be
able to keep up with an already highly capable tech team, in order to grow
our competitive edge
As an engineer you’ll deal with the backend logic of several services
You’ll work with systems architecture, database design and optimization,
communications and, of course, business logic (programming)
You’ll be the project owner of several projects, meaning you’ll be
responsible for actively ensuring their continuation
We expect high quality levels in your work and results
You’ll have to deal with critical situations calmly and be able to make
surgical interventions
Expect a high level of independence and responsability
