knowledge of open-source monitoring tools such a zabbix and/or nagios to
work with the leading consumer electronics company in silicon valley.  you
will be developing tools in python or php to monitor large scale, global
infrastructure (25k servers across 21 global data centers).  long term
consulting opportunity (1-2+ years) with strong potential of
contract-to-hire or direct hire for the right candidate.



background/experience requirements:

* 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years of
python and/or php programming and scripting experience

* previous work experience on large scale distributed monitoring systems

* experience with zabbix and/or nagios is a must
