Me olvide de Tarek Ziadé que actualmente trabaja en distutils2 y en
mozilla. Tiene muchas charlas y publicaciones interesantes:
http://ziade.org/about

Este año va a dar dos charlas copadas en pycon USA
(http://us.pycon.org/2011/schedule/lists/talks/)
 * Firefox Sync: Firefox Sync let you access your history, passwords,
bookmarks and even open tabs across all your devices, while remaining
unreadable on the server through encryption. After a brief
introduction on the Sync protocol, this talk will focus on the server,
which is written in Python.
* Packaging, from Distutils to Distutils2: Packaging or installing a
Python application can be extremely painful. This talk will deep-dive
into the new Distutils2 features and explain how you can use them in
your project *today* to make life easier for everyone (users, OS
package managers, developers, etc.).
